CRED Jewellery are a pioneer fair trade jeweller specialising in high-end wedding and engagement rings. They approached Swerve to undertake a lifestyle photoshoot of a number of their new collections. The goal was capture the quintessentially English nature of the jewellery, combining the elegance of 1950’s fashion with the scrolling ironwork of the lamps along Thames Southbank.
Swerve's photography department worked alongside the designer of the collections, Annabel Panes, as well as a lifestyle model, a 50’s fashion stylist, and a hair and makeup professional. Using the scrolling ironwork of the lamps along Thames Southbank which inspired the collections, the team worked together to re-create the 1950’s feel in a modern setting.
Upon receiving the first round of photo edits, CRED’s Marketing Manager replied with ‘LOVE. LOVE. LOVE’. The photos, individually treated with a custom-made vintage filters, successfully fulfilled the brief and are currently being used on their website, in email marketing campaigns, as postcards, and as advertising posters in the CRED shop.

“Right from the initial concept Swerve immediately picked up our thinking and gave us exactly the look we were going for. The photographer made the shoot really fun and relaxed, despite all the challenges the weather threw at us! The post-production work was done quickly and efficiently so we had the results in a flash.”
