Upskill London

The Challenge

Upskill London is an initiative set up by London Workforce Development to help businesses make the most of London's Universities and Higher Education Institutions. Our challenge was to produce a website that encouraged businesses to use the available academic resources to "upskill" their workforce through collaboration, short courses and graduate talent.

The Execution

The Upskill London brand was developed to look professional and appeal to the business demographic. A subdued palette with occasional touches of colour was used alongside three core messages. Clear calls to action have been used throughout the site encourage collaboration and all job vacancy submissions can be posted on London Grads, their sister site, at the click of a button.

The Solution

By splitting the overall project into two separate sites we were able to directly target the business market. We focused on three core messages and developed a site that was clear and initiative. We decided to use a central database so the sites could share data and the day to day running of the site would be swift and easy.
