Nonstop Ski

The Challenge

As Google took over from Yahoo! in the early 2000’s it became increasingly important for businesses, particularly those catering for the young and IT saavy such as Nonstop Ski, to gain high rankings for both the sake of credibility and traffic. Nonstop Ski challenged us to get them to number one for ‘ski instructor courses’, their main target search phrase.

The Execution

Bolstered by an early round of links from design showcase websites, we went on to help Nonstop Ski optimise their onsite content, in terms of page content and site structure, and build their offsite presence, in terms of links from ski blogs, gap year directories etc. The key to their online presence is the Nonstop blog ‘An insiders guide to the ski & snowboard industry’.

The Solution

After a fierce (and successful) battle for their top phrase led to a general rise in their other rankings, Nonstop Ski were pleased to find that they have also become number one for the shorter and more popular phrase ‘ski instructor’. High rankings and significant traffic streams have also been gained for phrases including ‘ski tricks’, ‘best snowboards’ and ‘gap year skiing’.
