Global Campaign Widget

EXPOSED 2013

The Challenge

EXPOSED 2013 is a global campaign calling on 1 million people to take action against corruption. The campaign required a signup widget to gather email addresses, which could be embedded on websites and blogs across the internet. The widget needed to be eye-catching, easy-to-use, and available in eight languages including Chinese and Bahasa Malay.

The Execution

We built a simple to use responsive widget that scales gracefully on a wide range of devices including iPads, iPhones, Android devices, PCs and Macs. The nature of mobile devices meant we needed to provide a solution that worked on and offline, we did this using HTML5 based offiline data collection which would then automatically sync when connection to the internet was re-established.

The Solution

It was clear from the beginning that we would need to provide a widget that not only scaled to fit various monitor sizes but also has a responsive design. This would need be touch friendly so that it would work seamlessly across a range of devices. It would also need to be designed and built to be flexible when considering the eight different languages it would support.
