Fed up of donkey work?

Junior Django Programmer

Swerve Concepts is looking for a conscientious programmer who is quick to learn, motivated and interested in how the Internet actually works. Ideally, you’d be available to work full-time in our light, airy office near Clapham Common. But we’re prepared to be flexible for the right candidate (some of our staff are part-time and others work part of the week from home).

You will be working on a variety of client websites as well as some of our in-house projects. We’re not expecting complete expertise from day one, but at a minimum you’ll need to be comfortable with:

  • the Linux command line;
  • Python and Django;
  • JavaScript.

If you also have PHP experience that would be a handy extra.

Any links you can provide to existing work (whether commercial or for fun) would be helpful. We’d also be very keen to see examples of your code (e.g. on your github profile).

Lunch, drinks and a reasonable salary will be provided plus a bonus linked to the performance of the company.

To apply, you’ll need to get our job application email address by cloning the git repository at: http://jobs.swerveconcepts.com/ (This is just a simple way of making sure you can work out how to use git.)

Once you’ve got the address, please email us including anything you think would be helpful to your application.
